Why Mother Earth Network?

Over 5 Years of Existence

Care for creation has been an issue of concern for all Franciscans since the time of Francis himself; he is the chosen patron saint of creation. The trust was established as an issue based network, to coordinate collective advocacy for practical solutions to the problems affecting environment in Kenya.


Mother earth network is driven with a vision to make the world a greener place for the wellbeing and sustainability of people.

Diverse membership & association

M-e-Network is composed of civil society groups , corporate bodies, faith-based organizations, government agencies and institutions of learning involved in Environmental conservation and management to provide advocacy synergies, dialogue and information sharing on issues affecting environment in Kenya.


To provide an international platform for collective advocacy and information sharing on forests conservation and environmental management issues by motivating people institutions religions to participate in the green programs.

An interfaith conservation organization registered as a Trust

M-e-Network is equipped with legal authority aiming at expanding its horizon of action to reach out to areas where are special needs to rehabilitate the harmed nature. Mother Earth Network has since inception engaged interfaith communities through conservation programs ranging from awareness creation, capacity building workshops and practical aspect of tree growing. The Network has gained recognition and partnerships with various organizations ranging from Government, Private sectors and other environmental organizations.
